Settle in.
Press play.
From your first invitation to your next movie night.
Get Plex ready on every screen.
Start with one Plex account.
Use the same account on AXAL and every device you watch on.
- Open your AXAL membership and choose Continue with Plex. Sign in on Plex’s page, or create a Plex account there if you’re new.
- Choose an available AXAL membership and finish approval with PayPal. Access begins after confirmed payment or an activated trial.
- Already paying? Use Request link in the portal to link your existing PayPal subscription. Wait for administrator verification; don’t start a second subscription.
Accept your library invitation.
This is what connects your Plex account to our movies and TV.
- Find the library invitation from Plex in your email, including Spam or Junk. Open its acceptance link.
- Check you’re signed into the same Plex account you used on AXAL, then accept the invitation for Axal Media.
- No email? Open Plex Web → Settings → Manage Library Access. Look for Library Invitations Received and accept the pending request.
A friend request alone doesn’t grant library access. If AXAL says “Invitation sent”, this is the step to complete.
Plex reference: accepting library accessYou’re invited to Axal Media
Two libraries. One place to watch.
Bring Plex to your favourite screen.
Choose the Plex player app. You don’t need to install Plex Media Server.
Smart TV or streaming device
- Install Plex from your device’s app store and select Sign In.
- When a code appears, open plex.tv/link on your phone or computer. Check the account, then enter your TV’s code.
- Wait for the TV to sign in. Open the libraries for Axal Media.
Phone, tablet or computer
Install the Plex player from your app store or Plex’s downloads page, then sign in with the same account. In a browser, use plex.axal.media.

On your phone, open plex.tv/link
Keep your libraries one tap away.
Favourite or pin both libraries, so AXAL is easy to find next time.
Phone & tablet
- Open Libraries in the bottom navigation. Tap the library name at the top left to open the picker.
- Choose All Libraries if you’re looking at favourites. Find Axal Media.
- Tap the heart beside Movies – Axal Media and TV Shows – Axal Media. Use Reorder if you want to move them.
Look for the server name Axal Media. Plex’s own “Movies & Shows” catalogue is a different source.
TV
- Open the left navigation, then More below Libraries. Find the libraries belonging to Axal Media.
- On newer TV apps, select the heart beside each library. On older layouts, use Edit or the library’s ⋯ menu and choose Pin.
- Add both Movies – Axal Media and TV Shows – Axal Media. Reorder your favourites or sidebar to put them first.
Look for the server name Axal Media. Plex’s own “Movies & Shows” catalogue is a different source.
Browser
- Open Plex Web and expand the left sidebar. Choose More to find Axal Media.
- Use the sidebar’s Edit control or the library’s ⋯ menu to pin Movies – Axal Media and TV Shows – Axal Media.
- Place them near the top. You can unpin other sources you don’t use; this changes navigation, not library access.
Look for the server name Axal Media. Plex’s own “Movies & Shows” catalogue is a different source.
Newer apps sync favourites across your account. Older apps may keep pins separately, so check each device. Button names vary with the Plex app version.
A better picture. A smoother evening.
Start with the original file’s quality on a strong connection, then adapt if needed.
AXAL is a remote server when you watch from home. The setting you want is usually Remote or Internet streaming, not just Home streaming. Adjust it on each player.
TV
Open Plex Settings → Video Quality. Look for Remote streaming (Android TV / Fire TV) or Internet Streaming (Apple TV). Choose Original or Maximum where available.
Browser
Open Settings → Plex Web → Quality, then adjust Internet Streaming. You can also change quality from the playback controls.
Phone & tablet
Start a video and open its playback settings. Look for Quality and select Original where available. Mobile menus differ between versions; check cellular limits separately.
| Setting or situation | What to choose |
|---|---|
| Reliable Wi-Fi or Ethernet | Try Original / Maximum. Higher quality needs more bandwidth; it is not a guarantee against buffering. |
| Variable Wi-Fi or mobile data | Use automatic quality or quality suggestions if your player offers them. Otherwise lower quality one step and retry. Choose a cellular limit that suits your data allowance. |
| Direct Play / Direct Stream | Leave these enabled where offered. Let Plex convert incompatible media when necessary; don’t force Direct Play. |
| Subtitles | Use Automatic subtitle handling. If subtitles trigger buffering, try an available SRT track or briefly turn subtitles off to compare. |
| Audio | Select a track your TV or sound system supports. If dialogue is missing, try stereo or another available audio track. |
Something missing? Request it.
Seerr is your place to ask for a movie or TV series.
- Open seerr.axal.media and sign in with your Plex account.
- Search for the title and choose the correct movie or TV series. Select the seasons you want, then submit your request.
- Check the request’s status in Seerr. A request is not a promise of immediate availability. When it’s ready, find it in your AXAL library in Plex.
Plex’s Watchlist and Seerr requests are different features. Submit in Seerr when you want to request something from AXAL.
How to use referral rewards.
Invite friends and family to AXAL and earn AUD $5 for each qualifying paying referral, every eligible month.
1. Find and share your personal code
- Sign in with Plex and open Member Portal → Referrals → Referral wallet.
- Choose Get my referral link if you do not have one yet. Use Copy referral link or Copy code to share it with your friend.
- Your friend can open your link before signing in, or enter your code or link in their own Referral wallet under Were you invited? Add your referrer’s code or link. Choose Save referral code. This is also available after they have joined or subscribed.
Each person can have one referrer. Your friend gets a separate personal code to refer other people; your code never becomes theirs. Self-referrals, changing an assigned referrer and circular referrals are not allowed. Entering the same original code again does not create another referral or extra credit. Rewards apply to your direct referrals only.
2. Understand when the AUD $5 is earned
Your referred friend must have verified payments covering a full calendar month. The first eligible month is the next full month after both their code attribution and first qualifying received payment. AXAL must verify the payment before counting it; there are no backdated rewards.
Trials, unpaid grace periods, partial payments and unverified payments do not generate credit. A complimentary or owner account does not count as a paying referral. If your friend stops qualifying, future monthly rewards stop; credits you already earned stay in your wallet. Your own subscription ending does not remove your referral rewards.
3. Read your wallet
| Wallet figure | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Projected monthly credit | Your currently verified paying referrals × AUD $5. This is an estimate if they qualify for the full eligible month; it is not earned or withdrawable money. |
| Pending full-month checks | Potential rewards still awaiting the full month and its checks. These do not count towards a withdrawal. |
| Available earned credit | Credit already earned and available towards the AUD $50 withdrawal minimum. |
| Reserved for withdrawal | Earned credit set aside for a withdrawal request. It cannot be requested a second time while reserved. |
Open Your referrals and monthly credits to see referred members, their first possible reward month and the reason for each monthly outcome. Ten qualifying referrals earn AUD $50 for a full eligible month.
4. Verify your PayPal payout address
If AXAL already has your original verified subscription PayPal email, it remains your locked payout address. If no address is bound, enter a PayPal email you control in Your PayPal payout email and choose Submit address for owner verification. Confirm the nomination.
The owner must independently verify and approve that address before you can withdraw. While it is pending, the withdrawal button stays unavailable. Address approval locks the destination; it does not approve a withdrawal or send money. An approved address cannot be changed in the member form. Contact an administrator privately if it needs review.
5. Request a withdrawal
- Wait until Available earned credit reaches at least AUD $50 and your payout address is verified. Projected and pending credit cannot meet this minimum.
- Select Request withdrawal in your wallet. The button shows your available amount. Review the amount and PayPal email, then submit for owner approval. This reserves your available earned balance.
- The owner reviews every withdrawal individually. After approval, the owner pays your approved email manually through PayPal, then records the completed transaction in AXAL. Approval alone does not send money.
- Follow Withdrawal history for awaiting approval, approved/awaiting manual payment and paid states. You can cancel your own request while it is still awaiting approval; cancellation or rejection releases the reserved credit.

Quick checks for the most common setup problems.
I can’t see Axal Media or its libraries.
Check your Plex username matches the one shown in AXAL. Confirm that your membership has access, accept the library invitation, then look in All Libraries or More. Fully close and reopen Plex. If the invitation is still missing, ask for help in the WhatsApp support group.
Plex says the server is outdated or unavailable.
Update your Plex player app, close it completely and reopen it. Try Plex in a browser. If the warning persists, send the exact message and a screenshot to your AXAL administrator. You do not need to install or update a server on your own device.
Playback is blurry, buffering or keeps stopping.
Check the current video’s quality setting and try another title. For buffering, lower quality one step and try a stronger network connection. If it only happens with subtitles, try another subtitle track. If available, note whether playback information says Direct Play, Direct Stream, Transcode or Indirect.
Plex is asking me to buy Plex Pass or Remote Watch Pass.
AXAL membership and Plex’s subscriptions are separate. Plex’s remote video rules depend on whether the server owner has Plex Pass or your account has a qualifying Plex subscription. Check you’re using the invited account and contact your AXAL administrator before buying anything solely to fix access. Read Plex’s current remote playback requirements ↗
My payment failed or I cancelled renewal.
Manage billing in your AXAL membership. Cancellation preserves any remaining paid or trial entitlement. If a paid period ends without a confirmed renewal, a three-day grace period applies. Check the exact deadline in your membership portal. AXAL sends a final reminder 48 hours before that deadline. The owner must review and approve any Plex suspension after grace; the deadline alone does not remove access or change PayPal billing. Access can be restored when payment covering the current period is verified. Expired trials and payment disputes retain access for review. Server owners and complimentary members are exempt from paid-period suspension.
Can I download for offline viewing?
Downloads need the relevant Plex permissions and may have additional Plex requirements. AXAL does not enable downloads automatically. If the option is missing, ask the administrator rather than changing your subscription to try to unlock it.
